Sacramento area power-pop, modern new-wave 4 pc. band with 5 CDs, distribution, management contract, and a whole-host of face-melting rock-opportunities needs a new bass player.

So sad.

We hope we have done enough shameless self-promotion that you'll know us by name, but if not, once you e-mail us we'll tell you who we are, and that is almost as cool!

Precision Guitar Action Set-Ups and Guitar Repairs

posted: November 21, 2009, 09:50 AM

Replyclick here

Does your new or older guitar leave something to be desired, action-wise?

Perhaps you have an older cherished guitar, which you would like to have restored/refurbished?

Most guitars, new or old, high-end or inexpensive, can benefit from a thorough fine-adjustment of the action and intonation. Let me bring your axe to its finest level of performance; pamper your musicianship with a properly set up musician's tool....your guitar!

Acoustic or electric, six-string or bass, any guitar can be made to play better and sound better than it currently does.

I do high-end, precision setups, setting the foundation for your instrument to produce it's best tone and lowest action. This I accomplish by removing the factors which inhibit tone. For example, I specialize in custom corrective woodworking, neck re-sets and custom fretwork.

I also do other corrective woodworking repairs, such as re-gluing loose or broken top and back braces, re-mounting pickguards, and other needed repairs, including general restoration and refurbishing of older instruments.

Another valuable offering is the aftermarket compensated nut system, available for most electric and acoustic guitars, which minimizes the inherent tuning discrepancies between first-position chords and chords higher up on the neck.

My electronic repairs and upgrades can enhance and optimize your electric guitar's signal, also. Perhaps you would like to have a high-quality pickup system installed on your acoustic guitar, or maybe an on-board distortion circuit install on your guitar's tone control.

I also offer pickup coil repair and re-winding; I can overwind your guitar's pickups to hot-rod them, or bring a dead pickup back to life. Don't replace that vintage pickup....have it re-wound instead!

Treat yourself to a precision action set-up today!

Reasonable, competitive rates, 17 years guitarmaking and set-up experience.

RedFeather Guitars....916-203-4896, or contact me via SNR email.

Ask also about our custom guitar-making services.

Thanks for reading!

Press Release:

ANNAMERCURY

Marinated together in early 2009 as the 5 member band like blending choice seasoned spices in a culinary treasure to create rock music for the world. Although, initially each member helms from different corners of the west region of the United States. They met and formed the band while living in Seattle, WA after a consistent time of artistically crossing paths. The underlining unspoken message the men want to say with their music is: “From the basement, to all the listening and visual audiences everywhere this is for you”.

“AM” (AnnAMercury) is comprised of Brady singing lead vocals, Jeff playing drums, Robin strumming the bass, with guitars being laced by both Pete and Ryan. All five share a mutual inner passion for music and a quiet determination to be as good as they possibly can be. The music that the band chooses to create is original in nature with a savory rock-n-roll flavor. And each member contributes by drawing on their own musical backgrounds in a combination of ways to make the songs happen.

After only seven months in the making the band is currently working on finishing its first songs to be recorded as an EP late summer in the legendary London Bridge Studio. Also, be sure to look for the band to begin their live public performances this coming November 2009 with much fanfare debut.

EP release date is scheduled for November 15th 2009...You don't want to miss it! Checkout and follow the band at: (www.myspace.com/annamercurylive) & (www.reverbnation.com/annamercury)

Thank you,
ANNAMERCURY

Tony Adamo's New Strokeland Release

Tony Adamo’s New Strokeland Records Release
Fred E. Harris, Los Angeles, CA

The soul funk artistry of Strokeland recording artist Tony Adamo is about to hit the radio airwaves in the form of a previous hit song written by Tower of Power (TOP) co-founders Stephen “Doc” Kupka and Emilio Castillo. TOP members, Doc Kupka, Tom Politzer and returning member Mic Gillette add their funky horns to this cover song, another funk pop hit to be.

In keepin’ his ear to the street, guitarist/producer Jerry Stucker added R&B/Soul -legend drummer, James Gadson (Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones),The funked-out organist Neil Larson (Gregg Allman, B.B. King, Whitney Houston), and the soulful playing of Reggie McBride on bass (Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Keb’Mo’).

Jim Santella of L.A. JAZZ SCENE MAGAZINE digs Adamo’s strong original style and says, “He sings with the bold character of a man who knows how to entertain, recalling pop singers Tom Jones, David Clayton-Thomas and Brook Benton, as well as jazz singers Al Jarreau and Mark Murphy.” With Tony Adamo’s smooth funk vocals, the triple threat of TOP horns and the rhythm section applying pressure to the groove, this song will be the sound of the summer.

HornDrivenRadio.com will be the first U.S. radio station to break this new MP3, “This Time it’s Real.”

Yes that's right, we will be running this first. We will make an announcement when this song will hit the rotation.
